Hell yeah! It’s been forever since our local underground produced such an arse-kicking mix of aggression, heaviness, groove and melody. On their debut album, Essen’s THE VERY END fire on all death/thrash metal cylinders with a style somewhere in between Hatesphere, The Haunted and One Man Army & The Undead Quartet. Their frontman Björn Gooßes (Night In Gales) is an experienced singer whose varied vocal approach makes their powerful songs potentially appealing to a large audience.
