Be'Lakor (Melodic death-metal - Australie)

Melodic death metal from Australia? Yes, you've heard it right. The message which started spreading from Sweden in the early to mid 90s has arrived down under, bringing forth a great band called BE'LAKOR. Around here probably hardly anyone is familiar with this five-piece, but this is about to change dramatically with the band's current album 'Stone's Reach' and their appearance at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air. From now on, the European death metal guard has got to live with the criticism not to be able to capture the essence of this style and give it their own note the way their Australian counterparts demonstrate it. Mix some early Dark Tranquillity with the melancholy of Insomnium, add a decent touch of keyboards and you get BE'LAKOR. This is by no means plastic melo-death, this is melo-death the way it is meant to be and was originally intended to sound like.
