Hamburg-based DAS PACK is a real duo infernale that likes to be classified under the term “rock”. However, thinking in categories is pretty much the opposite of their band philosophy. They allow themselves to groove and to play dance pop, and the next minute they go crazy with fast punk influences. And the way they make fun of all the clichés in our favourite music – both lyrically and musically – with “Heavy Metal Kind” just means they rock. DAS PACK let all boundaries between metal, punk and even singer/songwriter influences turned rock’n’roll simply disappear.
